We haven't met. But I am a new fan of NewHomes.Com!

My wife and I are relocating cross-country from Knoxville, TN. And to say the least, this is a HUGE transition for us. Admittedly, I was really apprehensive about A LOT of things from uprooting my business and starting over to finding the right place to live in a town that I had never been to before, to......wellllll, you get the picture!

Caroline (my wife) and I began devouring the Internet, looking for everything we could about Bend, real estate, culture, business, etc. And during this research, we discovered NewHomes.Com and Kim Mueller.

Although we initially responded to several real estate websites, requesting "more info" about various properties, Kim was the only one who responded and then took the bull by the horns in developing a new relationship. Oh yeah, we got a couple of cursory answers from some of our other requests. But no one else took the personal interest, the time to do the DILIGENT follow up (that we've since come to understand is the ONLY way that Kim does business!) that we found with her.

My new employer flew me to Bend and Kim was waiting for me with a full itinerary of houses to see that fit our requirements. She was also very helpful in telling me things to watch out for in some of the houses that we were considering....just really representing us the way that, say, a family member would watch out for our best interests!!

Well, the marathon Saturday turned out to be a winner as I found the house of our dreams. The day was also a winner because Kim made the whole process so much fun!. She clearly is a natural when it comes to caring for her clients....someone that I learned quickly that I can really trust.

As we unpack, get settled, and relax in our beautiful new home, we can’t help but feel very thankful to Butch Snyder for all his assistance. We greatly appreciate his dedication, attention to detail, and diligence from day one.

Butch worked very hard to help make our cross-country move as painless as possible. We started working with him in February while still living in California. After exchanging a few e-mails and phone calls, he seemed to clearly understand what our needs and desires in a new home were. Before we arrived in Florida we already had the floor plans and pictures of several houses that we found attractive.

When we finally met him it was like being greeted by an old friend. He went out of his way to keep us comfortable while we searched for our new home. He provided snacks for all and toys to entertain our two-year-old daughter for the long day of house hunting. He so adequately assessed our needs that in only one day we had found our house.

We most appreciated Butch's complete honesty throughout the entire endeavor. He was sure to point out all the pros and cons of the houses everywhere we went, including our eventual home. Additionally, he served as an excellent mediator during the escrow time. There are always problems that arise at escrow but Butch handled ours and the sellers with ease. He always gave the impression that everything was under control. He seemed to have solutions for all occasions.

Basically, Butch Snyder is a very pleasant, honest and hard working man who keeps his client's best interest at heart. Your thanks are overwhelming! You know, dinner is the least we could do for all you've done for us. Your above and beyond the call in meeting inspectors, air conditioning servicemen, and communicating with the sellers really made the move less stressful for us, yet more so for you. We just can't thank you enough for all the countless hours you spent making our move an easy transition. And the best part of all of it, from the very first time we met you until now, is that you are our friends. Our very first Florida friends! Who would have thought that a great friendship would be included in the house-buying venture? Not me, but this is the most precious gift you could have given us--your friendship. Priceless.
