Alta Communications Acquires New Homes Realty, Inc.

BOSTON, MA (April, 5, 2006) – Alta Communications, a Boston-based private equity firm formed in 1996 to focus exclusively on the media and telecommunications industries, has acquired New Homes Realty, Inc. (http://www.newhomes.com). New Homes Realty, Inc., based out of Clearwater, FL provides Buyer’s Agent services for new and resale homes in 36 States with its network of over 450 licensed real estate agents and brokers. Joining New Homes Realty, Inc. will be Valeri Marks as President and Chief Executive Officer and Dave Zynn as Chief Financial and Operating Officer.
