St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park - One of Florid's oldest running attractions, opened in May of 1893. The park started as a minor attraction at end of a railway next to Anastasia Island. Alligators were added to get more visitors to the shopping and the museum. The reptiles became the star attraction and the major point of attraction and with its growth in popularity the park moved to its current location in the early 1920's.

The Casa Monica Hotel - a historic hotel located in St. Augustine, Florida. Built by Franklin smith in 1888 and soon after completing the hotel Smith ran into Financial difficulties and sold it to oil and railroad tycoon Henry Flagler. After several years the hotel declined as its affluent guests began to summer farther south in Palm Beach, where Flagler built the ultra posh hotel The Breakers. Restored in 1999 to its former glory the hotel is located at the corner of King and Cordova Streets, and is the only hotel in St. Augustine to be given AAA's Four-Diamond award. The hotel has a moorish-style appearance with Spanish architecture.

The St. Augustine Light is on the north end of Anastasia Island, within the current city limits of St. Augustine. It was the first lighthouse established in Florida, in 1824. It was originally placed on a watchtower built by the Spanish in 1737 as part of the defenses of St. Augustine. The tower was built of coquina taken from a nearby quarry on the island.

History
