Coconino County, Arizona is located in the central region of northern Arizona. With a population of approximately 108,000 residents in 18,000 square land miles, this county is the largest county in Arizona yet the most sparsely populated.

Fort Tuthill County Park is the home to the Coconino County Fair and Horse Races. This county park features trails, a posse arena, grandstands for viewing rodeos, horse shows, and motor cross events, and an amphitheater for concerts and weddings.
